Based on the work of Nedra Newkirk Lamar, author of Giving the Sense: How to Read Aloud with Meaning, you’ll discover the logical principles and conversational patterns which underlie everyday speech. These then help you find and share the writer’s meaning – even if the writer is YOU! You’ll also learn practical delivery tips and techniques to become more expressive.
Your teacher, coach and “enthusiastic supporter” is Candy Coleman, an Authorized Affiliate of the Institute of Analytical Reading, Inc. She’s also the owner of Say It Well! and has coached countless Readers, lecturers, broadcasters and business people on speech and delivery skills for 40+ years. Candy’s a former Principia College speech/theatre professor and a professional actress and singer.
